Dr. Sanjay Sharma is a visionary leader who bridges the gap between the precision of modern medical science and the profound depth of ancient Vedic traditions. With a career spanning decades, he has dedicated his life to exploring the intersection of physical health, cosmic influence, and spiritual consciousness.

As the founder of NiYAMA Vedic Wellness, Dr. Sharma brings a multi-dimensional perspective to holistic healing, ensuring that the "Science of Living" is both evidence-based and spiritually grounded.

Dr. Sharma is a distinguished Professor of Surgery & Consultant Urologist with an extensive academic background and teaching experience in medical education, including MBBS, MS, and DNB (Urology). A member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS), his surgical insights provide a rigorous clinical foundation to his wellness philosophy. He views health not merely as the absence of disease, but as a state of vibrant, holistic recovery. He served as a medical volunteer & Dy. Director medical services, also established first organized medical centre of Heartfulness at Manapakkam.

Vedic Scholarship & Research

Beyond the clinic, Dr. Sharma is an accomplished scholar of the Indian Knowledge System (IKS). He holds the prestigious titles of Jyotisha Visharada and Vastu Acharya from the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS). His work as an independent researcher focuses on the mathematical and scientific principles of Vedic Jyotisha, utilizing it as a tool for understanding human potential and timing. He is also Director of 'Medical Astrology Research Initiative' Program.

Heartfulness Mentorship

Spirituality is the core of Dr. Sharma’s life. For over 30 years, he has been a dedicated practitioner and trainer in the Heartfulness (Sahaj Marg) tradition. Mentored by Shri P. Rajagopalachari and later by Sh. Kamlesh D. Patel (Daaji), he specializes in the Rajyoga tradition of meditation, helping individuals expand their consciousness and find inner stillness in a chaotic world, under guidance of Daaji.

Integrative Wellness & Global Mentorship

Dr. Sharma’s approach to wellness is truly global and integrative. He is a Certified Yoga and Ayurveda Wellness Consultant, having earned a Fellowship from the American Institute of Vedic Sciences (AIVS). Directly mentored by the world-renowned Dr. David Frawley (Pandit Vamadeva Shastri), he integrates these traditional sciences into modern lifestyle protocols. He is also an AYUSH Certified Yoga Trainer, committed to the authentic transmission of Yogic practices.
